In The Details Styled Shoot

Are you manifesting a natural, yet whimsical wedding?

I’m sharing the details on this stunning styled shoot organized by San Diego wedding planner + designer, Jaclyn from In The Details Wedding Planning. I was so excited to be a part of this shoot and when Jaclyn sent me her mood board, I couldn’t wait to create breathtaking florals to match her whimsical + earthy design.

Starting with the ceremony florals, Jaclyn had something different in mind. Instead of your traditional arch florals, we went with hanging florals since our venue already had these stunning built in arches. Embracing the organic feel of the design, I went for an asymmetrical pattern with the hanging flowers which included carnations and pom bunches. I absolutely loved how they turned out, especially when they were accompanied by the candles.

After the ceremony, we made for the guest tables. Jaclyn absolute knocked it out of the park with this design. Her inspiration stemmed from the tea plate and blossomed into a truly beautiful tablescape. For the centerpieces, I wanted to create something light + airy with plenty of texture!

For the bouquet, I wanted to stick with the light + airy feel while creating lots of dimension and incorporating different textures. Some of the flowers I included in the bouquet were Ranunculus, Orlaya, Larkspur, Dahlias, and Lisianthus. The finishing piece of this bouquet was the hand-dyed silk from Tono + Co.
